Credit/Debit Card for Appointment Reservation: As is customary when reserving a rental car or a hotel room, Studio requires a credit or debit card to be placed securely on file (via our p.o.s. and booking system) to reserve an appointment. You may pay for your appointment how you desire when in the salon. Should you cancel less than 24 hours to your appointment or no-show your appointment, you will be charged in full for the missed appointment. Of course we are always happy to make exception for emergencies or illness; we know your time is important, and we thank you in advance for considering ours.

Appointment Cancellation Policy: We request that you give at least 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. If you cancel an appointment less than 24 hours in advance or “no show”, we ask that you pay for your missed appointment in order to re-book. Of course we are always happy to make exception for emergencies or illness; we know your time is important, and we thank you in advance for considering ours.

  • Haircuts: If your haircut isn’t technically sound, we’d be happy to have the artist correct the “problem area” at no additional cost within 10 days of the initial service. Please leave a message via email to [email protected] We ask that you include your full name, phone number, date of appointment, stylist name, service(s) provided and photos of your current hair, and any “before” photos and photos used as “inspiration” during your consultation. You will be contacted within 2 business days. Studio does not offer refunds for services. 
  • Colors/Treatments: If you signed a color waiver, we will not consider a redo. If you are unhappy with your color service, please leave a detailed message via email to [email protected]. We ask that you include your full name, phone number, date of appointment, stylist name, service(s) provided and photos of your current hair, and any “before” photos and photos used as “inspiration” during your consultation. Please make sure you are in good lighting when taking photos of your current hair. You will be contacted within 2 business days. Studio 417 offers color service redos on a case-by-case basis, and with varying cost. If it is stylist error, there is no additional cost to the client within 14 days of the initial service. Past 14 days, we will not redo any service. Studio 417 does not offer refunds for services.

Unsupervised Children: Studio 417 does not allow unsupervised children less than 8 years of age in the salon. If you have an appointment and are the only supervision, please reschedule your appointment to another time, or bring an adult to supervise the child. Thank you!

Product Return Policy: All sales at Studio 417 are final. Thank you for shopping local!

Extension/Wig Deposit Policy: For tape in and bonded extensions, a consultation is required prior to booking extension removal or application. Additionally, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of extension service cost is required at time of appointment booking for extension application. For wigs and clip-in extensions, a non-refundable deposit of 100% of extension cost is due at time of ordering. The deposit will come off the final bill total. Thank you!

Clip-in Extension/Wig Return Policy: All wigs and clip in extensions are non refundable for any reason. Thank you!

Treatment (Straightener, Smoother, Perm, etc.) Deposit Policy: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required when booking a service such as a straightener, perm or smoothing treatment. This deposit will come off the final service bill. If you must reschedule your treatment appointment, you must give at least 24 hours notice or the $100 deposit will serve as a charge for your missed appointment.
